Flat / Plate
Heavy plate products are obtained by rolling semi-finished products with a rectangular cross-section (slab) produced by the continuous casting method to a specific temperature, with thicknesses ranging from 6.00 to 200.00 mm and widths ranging from 1000 to 3600 mm.

- The lower limit of 'Si' does not apply in case the content of 'Al' in the steel is min 0.020%.
- With the prior agreement of the purchaser, the manganese content may be increased, provided that the sum of the carbon content plus 1/6 of the manganese content does not exceed 0.40%
- This grade is produced normalized or equivalent to normalized rolling
- Copper content shall be minimum 0.20 %, if copper-containing steel is specified in the purchase order.

- The impact test is carried out only when specified at the time of enquiry and order and is not carried out for thickness thinner than 6 mm.
- Below 8 mm thickness, according to the item 8.3.1.1 of standart CSA G40.20, elongation value shall differ from the values given in the table
- Tensile test values apply to "transverse" test pieces
