Flat / Hot Rolled
Flat steel products are obtained by heating semi-finished products with a rectangular cross-section (slab), which are produced by the continuous casting method, to a specific temperature and then rolling them, with thicknesses ranging from 1.40 to 25.40 mm and widths ranging from 700 to 2025 mm, produceed as coil or by cutting/slit-coiling flat steel products from coils.
Hot rolled unalloyed structural steels for manufacture of construction equipment, machines and various machine parts, general construction plates, road and railway vehicles
- Suitable for galvanizing as "Category B". Category B contains 0.14≤ Si ≤0.25%.
- The maximum value for nitrogen does not apply if the chemical composition shows a minimum total aluminium content of 0.020%.
- Carbon equivalent, CEV (IIW) % = C + Mn / 6 + (Cr + Mo + V) / 5 + (Ni + Cu) / 15
- Deoxidation method of this products is fully-killed. Minimum aluminium to nitrogen ratio is 2:1.
- Tensile test values apply to "transverse" test pieces
- Impact test is not carried out for thickness thinner than 6 mm.
- Could be normalized or equivalent to normalized rolling.
Flat / Plate
Heavy plate products are obtained by rolling semi-finished products with a rectangular cross-section (slab) produced by the continuous casting method to a specific temperature, with thicknesses ranging from 6.00 to 200.00 mm and widths ranging from 1000 to 3600 mm.
